Payroll Alert - April Bank Holidays

If you haven’t noticed, there are lots of bank holidays in April. Have you considered your Payroll Services date might change at all? If you are a Citylights Payroll Services customer and you do need to change your Payroll Processing date please give us information about this change as early as possible and thanks to all of you who have already told us about their payroll changes. This will be greatly appreciated.
Key Changes in Payroll from 6th April 2011
Below is the quick reminder of Payroll changes from 6th April 2011
-Personal allowance rise from £6,475   to £7,475
-Employers NIC rise from 12.8% to 13.8%.
-Employees NIC increases from 11% to 12%
-Childcare relief to be restricted for higher earners joining after 6th April 2011.
